some wander the world calling abstract things real

and dream the rest

futile excercise

     to try to distinguish two things

     by calling them words

it matters not

     which is which

it matters only

     the two are together

abstract knows not life and death

concrete knows not eternity

but let’s not mix things

for they have always birthed one another

while discern knows only to mix things
